World History
Homo sapiens (Human Beings)
found around nearly 3,00,000 years ago (Carbon dating C-14 Evidences). For most
of that period, they are no written history of world belonging to that period.
During this period
(termed as “PREHISTORY”) human beings spent most of the period moving from
place to place in search of food, hunting for food, shelter building and
protecting from wild animals and other creatures.
The Pre-Historic period of the world is classified as
- Paleolithic period
(Classified as Lower, Middle and Upper)
- Mesolithic period (Old Stone
age)
- Neolithic period (New Stone
age)
- Chalcolithic period
Around 5000 BCE, as
existing process has slowly begun, humans started to settle at one place began
farming and making permanent settlements and in further ages use of metals like
copper and bronze begun, around the years 3000 BCE. System of letters, Symbols
begun. this form of organised living is termed as civilization. For more

Civilization
of world
Many civilizations
rose from different corners of the world, But we consider 4 civilizations
of the world are most important ones. These ancient civilizations rose
around river valley, on the banks of four rivers.
- Mesopotamian
Civilization(Tigris-Euphrates valley)(3300 BC -2000 BC)
- Egyptian
civilization (Nile valley)(3200 BC – 1000 BC)
- Harappan
civilization (Indus valley)(3200 BC – 1300 BC)
- Yellow
River (Chinese) civilization (Yellow River valley)(2000 BC – 200
BC)

History of India can be studied under following three categories
- Ancient
History (2500 BC – 1205 AD)
- Medieval
History (1206 AD -1707 AD)
- Modern
History (1707 AD – 1947 AD)

- Numerous wealth found under the temples of Tamil Nadu etc
