Engineering Entrance Exam (SRMJEEE)
SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Examination or SRMJEEE will be conducted by SRM Institute of Science and Technology for admission to B.Tech programmes offered by the institute.
Candidates, who had qualified the entrance test, have to participate in the counselling of SRMJEEE to take the admission process to next level and get seat. SRMJEEE counselling will be conducted in two phases in offline mode and seats will be allotted to candidates' on the basis of their merit, availability of seats and choice of filling.
Eligibility Criteria:
SRMJEEE eligibility criteria include eligibility in the certain aspects like age, qualifying exam, nationality etc.
Nationality:
For eligible of candidate to write SRMJEEE, candidates can be Resident Indians, Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) and PIO or OCI card holders as issued by the GOI.
Qualifying Exam:
1. Candidates should have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam to be eligible for SRMJEEE with minimum 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from any state board within India, CBSE, ISCE, Matriculation, or NIOS.
2. Candidates who are appearing in 10+2 in the academic year can also apply for SRMJEEE.
3. International Baccalaureate (IB) with Diploma or an A-level with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics / Biology / Botany & Zoology / Biotechnology as subjects from any international school will be eligible for admission through SRMJEEE.
4. The migrants from Kashmir will be eligible for relaxation in SRMJEEE eligibility for admission subject to minimum eligibility requirements as per UGC.
Direct Admission:
1. The institute offers direct admission and scholarships to first rankers of all Central and State boards in India, also to top 1000 rankers of IIT JEE, top rankers in each district of Tamil Nadu and exemplary sportspersons at National and International level.
