About IES (Indian Engineering Service)

IES (Indian Engineering Service) is the prestigious exam conducted by UPSC Board for selection of candidates into all Indian Engineering Services.

Engineering Services Examination is conducted every year for selection of officers into Indian engineering services to recruit various vacancies into technical and managerial functions in fields of engineering services under Government of India.

Government of India recruits its civil servants and officials on the basis of merit, and middle management positions in the bureaucracy are filled through competitive exams. 

The posts are very limited, but the competition is high .Selection of candidates for IES Officers Exam is recommended conducted by UPSC Board after conduct of Examination Process. 

  

Eligibility

Should hold a Bachelors Degree/Master Degree in Statistics/Mathematical Statistics/Applied Statistics
PG Degree (Economics/Applied Economics/Business Economics/Econometrics)
Candidate must be minimum of 18 years and maximum 30 years

Examination Fees

For General/OBC: Rs 200/-
Females/SC/ST/PWD: Nil

Examination Pattern

• Level 1: Preliminary Exam (to select candidates for Mains)
• Level 2: Main Examination
• Lev3l 3: Selected Students will be called for an interview
