Admission Test
Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is the most coveted of all the law entrances in India after Class XII. It is the exam conducted at national level for intake of the students into popular national law universities located in India.
CLAT admission test started in the year 2008 and at present more than 45,000 students write the entrance every year in participating 21 National Law University. CLAT score is also accepted by other law schools including NMIMS- Mumbai, UPES-Dehradun etc
Eligibility
UG programme
1. No upper age limit for UG programme for CLAT Admission Test
2. Minimum percentage of marks (10+ 2 level)
3. Candidates need to secure at least 45% belonging GEN/OBC/PWD/NRI/PIO/OCI categories
4. Candidates need to secure at least 40% belonging to SC/ST categories
5. Candidates studying final year also eligible to appear CLAT exam
PG Programme
1. L.L.B Degree or its equivalent with minimum of 55% of marks of its equivalent for GEN/OBC/PWD/NRI/PIO/OCI categories and 50% of marks for candidates belonging to SC/ST categories
2. No upper age limit is prescribed for appearing in CLAT
