The Birla Institute of Technology & Science, popularly known as BITS Pilani is an all-India level Institute for higher education.
The main idea/motive of BITS is to train and implement ideas, methods, techniques and information for their interest, ranging from the Humanities to Engineering until 1964 when all these colleges amalgamated to culminate into a unique Indian University of International standing. This university was christened as the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, known to many as BITS, Pilani.
BITS have 4 centres of learning situated at Pilani, Dubai, Goa, and Hyderabad.
Bits Pilani is India’a leading institute of higher education and a deemed to be university, established under section 3 of UGC Act 1956, with an illustrious legacy, modern campus and alumni in leadership positions across the world.

BITSAT Online Test
BITSAT- is a Computer based online test for Admissions to Integrated First Degree Programmes of BITS Pilani Campuses in Pilani, Goa and Hyderabad.

Eligibility

For admission into Integrated first year Degree Programme (Except Dubai Campus), the candidate should pass 10 +2 exam from recognised central or state board or its equivalent with physics, chemistry and biology or PCM.
2.     Candidate should have obtain minimum of 75% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology, with at least 60% marks in each of subjects and posses adequate proficiency in English
3.    Students who are presently studying in BITS at any of its campus are not eligible.
