About AIL Entrance
Test (Army Institute of Law B.A. LL.B)
Army Institute of Law (AIL) was established in the year 1999 by the Indian Army under the Army Welfare Education Society (AWES) at its interim location at Patiala, In the year 2003, the Institute shifted Mohali which was inaugurated by Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, the then President of India. AIL is affiliated to the Punjabi University, Patiala and approved by the Bar Council of India. It conducts a five year BA.LLB and one year LL.M course exams
About BA.LLB Course (5 years)
Number of Seats: 80 Seats
Distribution of Seats:
1. Wards of Army Personnel: 60 seats
2. Punjab Resident Civil Category: 16 seats
3. All India Civil Categories: 4 seats
Admission Process
1. For 60 Seats of wards of army Personnel through Entrance test (Online LET)
2. For 4 seats of All India Category called for counselling based on merit list of written exam
3. For Other 16 seats in Punjab Category selection will be based on 10+2 Merit List.
