Analyzing
the General Studies Paper-1 2016 one can say that UPSC has shifted its focus on
current issues like government schemes which focus on the social(Rashtriya
Garima Abhiyaan, Atal pension Yojana, Pahal Scheme, Gold Monetization, Pradhan
Mantri fasal Bhima Yojana, Mission Indradhanush, UDAY) and other Schemes
(Pradhan Mantri MUDRA Yojana, SWAYAM, STAND UP India, START UP India) and the
International Issues like Africa Summit, UN-REDD, New Development Bank, ASEAN,
WTO, Trans-Pacific Partnership, almost these question contains around 40
questions and
Science
and Technology questions like Bitcoins, ITER (International Thermonuclear
Experimental Reactor, Digital Locker, Astrosat, Mangalyaan (Mars Mission of
India), Payment Banks, LiFi, Bioinformatics(Transcriptome), INS Astradharini
around 10 questions and polity, Economics, and History we can see a very less
number of questions than the previous years
By
analazing the overall paper we can say, those who had focus on the current
aspects of the India and International Issues have the good scope to clear the
exam, rather than how focused much on the polity, history and General studies
part
There
is no clear source about the number of students attempted the, But some
website says around 11.36 lakhs aspirants are going to take
examination. Every year around 9 lakhs students downloads the admit cards
around 4 to 5 lakhs aspirants appears for the exams and only least cross the
cut of i.e 13 to 14 times the actual post that are going to fill the vacancies
Key
for SET D
The
cut off can be predicted around 110-115 and most the institutions like Raus,
Vajiram , Chanayaka also predicted around the same 110
