Note: Centres are liable to change at the discretion of UPSC. Ceiling is there for every centre, Once the ceiling is reached the centres are frozen and the other centres are allocated, the allocation of candidates is on “first apply first allot” basis, so applications are advised to apply as early as possible to get their centers of their choices

All the candidates are required to bring the admit card which can be downloaded from online before a month of the examination (either Black and White/Color one Xerox are acceptable) along with them, and no other ID proof is necessary, however it is recommended to keep at least one ID proof and 2 passport size photos along with him, for any unknown circumstances, cell phones are not allowed in the examination hall.

Centers for Mains Examination

The following centers are listed by the UPSC to conduct the mains examination for any changes refer the upsc notification that will be released before the examination is schedule to conduct the exam

Those who qualified the prelims examination (one day examination) Prelims exam, the list of successful candidates will be released by UPSC and the qualified ones need to apply again for the mains examination, the examination is scheduled for 5 days morning and afternoon sessions candidate need to write 9 papers see mains pattern

Centre for Interview test

The personality test/interview test is conducted only in NEW DELHI, no other centre is available or allocated for conduct of interview

Interviews for those who cleared mains will be called rank wise and the candidates are interviewed, after completion of the interviews the final list of successful candidates will be released by UPSC and then the further process continue training cadre allocation etc.
