Eligibility cum Entrance Examination for MDS admissions
NEET MDS is the single exam which has dual purpose of defining eligibility cum ranking the students for admission to MDS Courses. NEET MDS is the single exam, no other institution whether at state level or any other institutional level will not conduct any exam for entry to MDS course according to Dentists Act, 1948
Eligibility for NEET MDS
1. Should have completed Bachelor Degree in Dental Surgery
2. One year Internship in recognised Dental College/university
3. Candidates who have completed their UG on or past 1989
4. Candidates who have achieved 4 ½ years of their UG Program and 6 months of compulsory internship Program.
5. Other Exceptions as specified in respect to some states for more details refer official website stated below
Examination Pattern
1. Mode of Exam: Online Computer Based
2. No of Questions: 240 (MCQ Type)
Exam Duration:
Exam Duration: Three Hours (3 hours)
Qualification Criteria:
50% for General, 40% for SC/ST/OBC and 45% for PWD
Application Fees of NEET MDS:
Rs 3750 –OC/OBC and Rs 2750 – ST/SC/PWD
